From the top-secret stuffing recipe you’ve been waiting all year to enjoy to the annual screening of your favorite holiday films, everyone has their own special way of celebrating Thanksgiving. For many full-time RVers and camping enthusiasts, Thanksgiving is best enjoyed on the road. Here are our tips for celebrating Thanksgiving in your RV:
Choose your campground wisely
Depending on where you’re planning on being during Thanksgiving, there are many RV campgrounds that offer their own version of the Thanksgiving celebration. The Tucson/Lazydays KOA campground, for example, features a Thanksgiving Dinner for campers on November 23. Wherever you decide to camp for the holiday, be sure the campground can accommodate your celebration.
Take Advantage of Your Amenities
While some RVs don’t have residential-sized kitchens, that doesn’t mean you can’t find a way to make all your favorite Thanksgiving treats. In addition to taking full advantage of make-ahead recipes, you can also utilize your convection oven, slow cooker, dutch oven and even the open campfire! Need some inspiration?
